01 Scope
This Policy applies to information processed by the developer or
by third-party services integrated into the App in connection
with your use of the App.
Information processed independently by Google Play or another
third-party service is also governed by that provider’s own
privacy policy and terms.
02 Information the developer does not directly collect
The App does not require registration or login. The developer
does not ask you to submit the following through the App:
- Your name, postal address, phone number or email address
- Your contacts, photographs, videos, audio or files
- Your precise location
- Numbers, amounts, percentages, rates or periods entered into calculators
- Your calculation results
- Credit card numbers or other payment-card details
The App does not display third-party advertising. It does contain
an optional one-time purchase for permanent access to PRO features.
03 Information processed or stored on your device
The following information is generally processed or stored only
on your device:
- Numbers entered into calculators and their results
- Language, light/dark mode and similar App preferences
- A local setting indicating whether PRO access has been unlocked
You can remove this locally stored information by clearing the
App’s storage or uninstalling the App.
04 Third-party services and information processed
Google Analytics for Firebase
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App
is used and to improve its functions and usability.
Google may process App launches, screen and feature interactions,
sessions, App version, operating system, device model,
approximate geography and an App-instance identifier.
Depending on your device settings and Google’s implementation,
the Android Advertising ID may be processed for analytics or
measurement. We do not use the Advertising ID to display
third-party advertisements.
Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, defects and
stability issues. Google may process crash stack traces,
relevant App state, device and operating-system information,
App version, installation identifiers and actions occurring
immediately before a crash.
We do not intentionally configure Crashlytics to record the
numbers you enter into calculator fields.
Google Play Billing
Google Play Billing is used for the one-time purchase and
verification of PRO access. Google Play may process the product
ID, transaction status, transaction identifiers and purchase token.
Payment-card and bank-account information is handled by Google
and is not provided to the developer.
Google Play
Google Play is used to distribute, update, license and test the
App and to provide store functionality. Information associated
with your Google account and Google Play is handled according
to Google’s terms and privacy policies.
05 Purposes of processing
Information processed through the third-party services described
above is used primarily to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the App
- Understand general trends in screen and feature usage
- Identify and correct crashes, defects and performance issues
- Prevent misuse and verify purchase status
- Deliver PRO features purchased through Google Play
- Comply with applicable law and lawful government requests
We do not use information for purposes that are unrelated to or
incompatible with the purposes stated above.
06 Service providers, disclosure and sale of data
We do not sell or rent information concerning App users.
Google and its subprocessors may process information as service
providers for Firebase and Google Play where necessary to operate
the App.
We may disclose information where required by applicable law,
a valid court order or lawful government request, or where
reasonably necessary to protect life, safety, property or legal rights.
07 International processing
Firebase and Google Play operate using Google’s global
infrastructure. Technical, usage or diagnostic information may
therefore be stored or processed in countries or regions outside Japan.
Such processing is subject to the service provider’s contractual,
technical and organisational safeguards and applicable law.
08 Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature and scale
of the information processed to reduce the risk of unauthorised
access, loss, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
- Calculator content is generally kept on the device
- Administrative access is restricted and authenticated
- Only services and permissions reasonably needed by the App are used
- SDKs and dependencies are reviewed and updated
- Encrypted network connections provided by Firebase and Google Play are used
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can,
however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
09 Retention and deletion
Local App preferences and the local PRO-unlock state remain on
your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
Information processed by Google Analytics for Firebase,
Firebase Crashlytics and Google Play is retained according to
the relevant service settings, retention periods and contractual terms.
Information is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period
when it is no longer necessary for its stated purpose.
Where information is linked only to an anonymous or pseudonymous
identifier and cannot reasonably be connected to a particular user,
we may be unable to locate or delete an individual record.
10 Your choices and rights
You can manage information connected with the App by:
- Clearing the App’s storage or cache in your device settings
- Uninstalling the App
- Adjusting Android or Google-account privacy settings
- Deleting or resetting your Android Advertising ID
- Choosing not to purchase PRO access
- Contacting us about how information is handled
Where we hold personal information that can identify you, you may
request notice of purpose, access, correction, suspension of use
or deletion to the extent provided by applicable law.
We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11 Children
The App is not designed specifically for children.
It does not include a feature through which children are asked to
submit their name, contact details or other directly identifying information.
A parent or guardian who believes that information concerning a
child has been processed improperly may contact us using the details below.
12 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in applicable law,
Google Play requirements, the SDKs used by the App or the App’s functions.
Material changes will be communicated through this page,
the Google Play listing or another appropriate in-App method.
An updated Policy applies from the date it is posted on this page.
